Vintage Earrings Vintage Brooches Vintage Necklaces Vintage Bracelets

Approx. 1940's Bohemian Yellow/ AB Crystal Unusual Dangle/ Trails Necklace; This was a makers 'sample' piece so you can see the silver-coloured soldering on the reverse; this means that there were probably not that many of these pieces made; this piece must have represented a lot of work on behalf of the maker, and I have never seen anything like this. The metal used is brass, the crystal is probably Swarovski, the ovals are crystal aurora borealis and the smaller crystals are jonquil (delicate yellow) - its unusual to see yellow crystal used in jewellery which is a shame because its so sunny and pretty. All stones correct and present, finished with its original clasp, the necklace measures approx. 20 inches / 51 cm, and the middle tendril/ trail measures approx. 5 inches / 12.5cm. A sparkling one of a kind vintage piece. £55.00

Restrung Art Deco Mint and Gold Aventurine Venetian Glass Bead Necklace; approx. 1920's - 1930's in date and probably Venetian in origin, this necklace is a rare shade of delicate minty green trailed with gold aventurine, (I have not seen this colour in handmade glass beads previously); the largest bead measures approx. 18mm. The matching wavy ruffle beads are delightful, and the necklace retains its original brass and lucite corrugated washer spacers. I restrung the necklace using Beadalon Professional and kept the original brass barrel clasp. Measures approx. 16¾ inches / 42.5 cm. £68.00

Restrung Green Satin Glass with Roses Glass Bead Necklace; approx. 1930's in date and Bohemian in origin, satin glass was a particularly beautiful glass produced in this region at this period of time, a combination of opaque and translucent glass; these beautiful green beads have been patiently decorated with pink roses and little multi coloured sprinkles on two sides of the bead - just imagine how long that took the maker of these beautiful creations. I have restrung these beads using Beadalon Professional and retaining the original spacer beads, adding a sterling silver clasp and fittings. The necklace measures approx. 18¾ inches / 47.5 cm and the largest bead measures approx. 15mm. £65.00

1930's Bohemian Foiled Green Speckled Glass Bead Necklace; this is a lovely necklace in a pretty apple-green, the main beads (the centre 7) are silver-foiled over which has been laid speckles of multi-coloured glass which has been overlaid with clear glass, giving a 'window' effect to the beads - all the other beads are speckled with multi-coloured flecks of glass - this is called 'frit' and these sort of beads were called 'end of day' beads where the beadmaker would use the bits of glass that fell around him or her, reflecting the colours that he or she had been using during the day - the largest bead measures approx 13mm, the smallest beads measure approx. 5mm and the necklace measures approx. 17½ inches/ 44.5cm; it is finished with its original Bakelite/ early plastic screw-type clasp - the stringing appears to be clean and new. £40.00
