Pretty Vintage Sarah Coventry Brooch; this gorgeous brooch would
double up as a pendant as it has a loop for stringing; what most appealed
me to this piece was the fabulous Venetian glass cabochons -
the prettiest turquoise, white and goldstone flecks - the brooch/ pendant
is in lovely vintage condition with no wear and tear or
damage that I can see other than a tiny bit of wear to the plating on
the pin fitting where it has been opened and closed by its former owner;
the brooch measures approx. 3 x 2.¾ inches/ 7.5 x 7 cm. Pretty. Signed
'Sarah Cov.' which is short of course for the company 'Sarah Coventry';

| 1950's Blue Crystal
Brooch; set with various shades of blue crystal - this piece has a
number of replaced crystals, but you do need to look at the picture (or
the piece!) to spot this - to me, this adds to the charm of the piece
- it has obviously been so loved by its previous owner that it was cared
for by a bit of creativity over time... completely wearable and lovely.
The brooch measures approx. 2 x 1½ inches/ 5 x 3.5 cm. The pin

piece - a brass base with a central set faceted Sapphire blue glass

Multi-Coloured Brooch; sparkly brooch with lots of lovely colour
- nice quality piece with a gold-plated back - this piece has been signed
but the gold plating has obscured the signature (just what genius thought
of doing that) - in excellent working order, the pin is showing a little
darkening which is in line with its age (approx. 1970's), not detrimental
to the piece at all, just mentioned for accuracy - the brooch measures
approx. 1¾ inches / 4.5 cm. £26.00 |
