1930's Venetian Gold
Foiled Glass Bead Necklace; from my personal jewellery stash - I
have had these for a long time - rare, beautiful, and in perfect condition
too. I bought these in Venice when I visited with my Mum a long time
ago and they came from a little dusty antique bead shop where every
bead I bought was like the lady was parting with her best friend, I
seriously had to convince the lady that they would all go to a loving
home! This necklace really has that 'wow' factor -- the bead has been
completely covered with gold-foil before being decorated with clear
glass trailings, pink roses and blue, white and red flowers - really
unusual. The 27 beads have been restrung in modern times with a modern
clasp.

Restrung and Remodelled Beautiful Blue-Grey-White
Handmade Glass Bead Necklace, probably late Victorian in date and
most likely Venetian in origin, when these beads came to me they were
just strung together tightly on some horrible hard wire with a terrible
clasp. What is lovely about these beads is that they are a similar shape,
but all different sizes - I imagine the original artist making these and
some coming out smaller or larger than others; and what a beautiful combination
of blues, soft greens, greys and sand all swirled round on a white base;
these are so old but look so up to date that I love them. I added silver
plated filigree beadcaps, a lovely old crystal-set rhodium-plated clasp
from around the 1930's, new Swarovski crystal beads in a wonderful stormy
blue-grey colour, and of course restrung using Beadalon Professional.
The necklace measures approx. 19¾ inches / 50 cm. £85.00

Restrung and Remodelled 1930's Bohemian
End of Day Gold Aventurine and White Glass Beads - this lovely summery
necklace has been restrung and remodelled so it is ready to wear; I used
a new sterling silver clasp and fittings, sparkling Swarovski crystal
aurora borealis spacer beads, silver plated bead caps and the necklace
has been restrung using Beadalon Professional. Measures approx. 19½

Fabulous Pink Crystal Necklace; this
is gorgeous - if you are into pink, you are going to love this - the sparkling
crystal in this necklace is probably Swarovski and approx. 1960's in date
- the crystal is individually claw-set into a gold-plated brass cased
setting with a hook-type clasp - dress this up or wear it with pretty,
casual clothes - the necklace measures approx. 16½ inches / 42
cm. Lovely vintage condition throughout. £32.50 |

Approx. 1950s Pink Crystal and Pink Satin
Glass Clip-On Earrings and Necklace Demi Parure; this set is so beautiful
- in excellent vintage condition (some wear to the gold-plating on the
back of the necklace but the earrings look unworn) - the necklace measures
approx. 15½ inches (approx. 39.5 cm) and the earrings measure approx.
1¼ inches by approx. 1 inch; all the crystal and the satin glass
is individually claw-set, a good indication of high-end costume jewellery.

Approx. 1950s Coral Colour Cat's-eye Necklace
and Clip-On Earrings Demi-Parure; this is such a great old set of
matching necklace and clip-on earrings in pure 1950's style - goldtone
metal set with square coral colour cat's-eye-glass; both earrings and
necklace are of sturdy construction, and as far as I can see there is
one area of darkening on the front of the necklace where the plating has
worn, otherwise in great vintage condition; the earrings have wear to
the plating on the pad where the ear would have rested front and back,
otherwise in lovely vintage condition; the earrings measure approx. ½
inches and the necklace measures up to approx. 17 inches / 43 cm using
the adjuster chain. £28.50 |

Red Bohemian Flower Bead Necklace; a
beauty, approx. 1930's in date, I restrung and added Swarovski crystal
as the original necklace was quite short - I used Beadalon Professional
for the restringing. Lovely deep red glass feature beads decorated with
daisies and green tendrils, with matching graduating red glass beads,
small glass spacer beads and brass beadcaps (some of the little decorative
edges have parted from these beadcaps but I felt they were so unusual
that they HAD to go back on the restrung piece) and all the original brass
and lucite spacers which make this piece extra special; the clasp is original.
