80s Crystal Heart Brooch
Approx. 1980s Crystal Heart Brooch; this is a nice high-end rhodium plated
claw-set crystal heart shaped brooch - in lovely condition (looks unworn)
- measures approx. 1 inch (2.5 cm) by approx. just over 1½ inches
(2.5cm) - even the large stone in the middle is heart shaped, this is

Beautiful approx. 30's Crystal Set Brooch;
this is one of my favourite current pieces of old jewellery - it’s a lovely
piece of old costume jewellery - all the crystal is claw-set into the
rhodium-plated setting - this is in lovely condition and the crystal is
so bright and sparkling they look like diamonds (they are not, they are
just good crystal) - measures approx. just under 2 inches/ 5cm. A1 vintage

Approx. 1940's Diamante Rhodium Plated Ivy
Leaf Fur Clip/ Brooch; this is a beautiful piece with lots of sparkling
faceted crystal set into the leaf design of this fur clip/ brooch. Even
the back has been designed to look good; the clip stays put when worn
because it has some little 'teeth' which grip the garment. In good vintage
condition, all the crystal appears to be original and the plating is intact
though clearly the brooch has been worn and loved. Measures approx. 2¼

50s Blue Crystal Snowflake Brooch
Blue Crystal Snowflake Brooch; approx. 1950's in date, this brooch is
in excellent vintage condition (looks unworn) -- all high quality claw-set
crystal (probably Swarovski) - the metal is silver-tone and again unmarked
- the brooch is unsigned but has the feel and construction of a high-end
piece. Measures approx. just under 1½ inches / 3.75 cm. SOLD

1950s - 1960's Blue Crystal Brooch and Earrings
Demi Parure; this is a real beauty - in A1 vintage condition (looks unworn),
rhodium plated metal on both the brooch and the earrings which are for
non-pierced ears - even the little rubber pads on the earrings are 'as
new'. The earrings measure approx. 1¼ inches / 3 cm x 1 inch /
2.5 cm, the brooch measures approx. 2¾ inches / 7 cm x 2 inches
/ 5 cm. All the crystal is claw set, which was only done on good quality
costume jewellery because it is a time consuming process, and the crystal
is more than likely Swarovski - a lovely combination of Capri blue, sapphire
blue aurora borealis and delicate pale blue. Both earrings and brooch
are signed 'Sarah Cov.' which is short of course for the company 'Sarah
Coventry'; this company traded between the 1950's and 1984; the jewellery
was sold through home jewellery parties. Excellent vintage condition.

20's Bohemian Faux Jewel Filigree Brooch;
this is a great old piece, with pretty foiled glass crystal 'stones' twinkling
amongst the brass filigree metal which has darkened over the course of
time (to be expected with a piece of this age) - the brooch measures approx.
just under 2 inches (approx. 5 cm) by approx. 1 inch (approx. 2.5 cm).

Small Victorian Brass-Crystal Blue Bohemian
Brooch - small but beautiful! This is a lovely survival from around
the Victorian period - a brass base with a central set faceted Sapphire
blue glass stone, which is encircled by a row of claw set foiled sapphire
crystal, encircled by a row of claw set foiled clear crystal; claw setting
would only be done in the case of good quality costume jewellery, and
the pin back is sturdy and in good working order; I imagine someone giving
this to his sweetheart all that time ago. Measures a diminutive just under
1 inch / 2.5 cm x ¾ inch / 2cm. £17.50 |
