Sugar' Glass Clip On Earrings - approx. 1950's in date, these unusual
beads are probably Japanese in origin - just after WWII when the glass
industry in Japan was encouraged to make a fresh start to help with their
economy. The beads are white overlaid with pink and delicate toffee colour
dots, as are the matching cabochons at the top of the earrings - the fittings
are brass which has darkened (oxidised) over the passage of time and there
is a little verdigris (green) on the brass here and there, but my suggestion
would be to leave this as is as it is part of the history of the earrings.
Screw (non pierced) fittings in good working order, the earrings measure
approx. 1¾ inches / 4.5 cm from top to bottom. £25.00 |

Venetian Wedding Cake Earrings - approx. 1950-60's in date, these
pretty earrings have screw backs (non pieced) - these beads are called
'wedding cake' for their festive surface decoration - lovely vintage condition,
the earrings have a drop/length of approx. just over 1 inches / 2.5 cm.

Bohemian Glass Foiled Jewel Clip Earrings - lovely opalescent foiled
leaf which 'glows' from inside, with two claw set aurora borealis crystals
on a goldtone setting. Nice vintage condition, the inside of the clips

Vintage Venetian Wedding Cake Clip On Earrings - signed 'Italy'
on the back of the brass clips, these are spectacular Venetian/Murano
glass handmade cabochons with all the true 'Wedding Cake' style glass
(so called for its festive design) features - creamy-off-white glass overlaid
with pink 'stringer' roses, lots of gold, gold aventurine ribbons and
blue and yellow murrini dots. Very pretty. Around. 1960's in date, these
earrings measure approx. 1 inch / 2.5 cm. The brass has begun to darken
(oxidise) as it will over time, with a little verdigris here and there,
all in line with the age of these earrings and not detrimental to them

Pink 'Weiss' Signed Clip Earrings; lovely sparkling Austrian
crystal (Swarovski) earrings from Weiss, a very
good maker of this type of jewellery - the diamond shape crystal is unusual;
featuring a combination of pink with pink with aurora borealis
crystal - all claw set; these clip on earrings are marked 'WEISS' on the
back; the fittings are in excellent working order - very little wear to
the gold-plating on the reverse and front of the frame and
the crystal is in lovely condition too - one crystal has been replaced,
but I had to inspect these hard to spot this. The earrings measure approx.
